Antique map of Asia by Bossuet titled ‘L’Asie’. Map of Asia showing Korea as an island, and the great Terre Jesso, with great detail of mountains, lakes and rivers. This map originates from ‘Continuation de L’Histoire Universelle de Messire Jacques-Benigne Bossuet’ published by L’Honoré & Fils.

Jacques-Benigne Bossuet (1627 – 1704) was a French bishop and theologian, renowned for his sermons and other addresses. He has been considered by many to be one of the most brilliant orators of all time and a masterly French stylist.

Condition: Very good, please study image carefully.
