Antique Map of China and Indonesia by Covens & Mortier titled ‘Carte d’une Partie de la Chine, les Isles Philippines, de la Sonde, Moloques, de Papoesi &c’.

Rare map of China and Southeast Asia, centered on the Philippines. This fine map extends from the  area around Shanghai, China in the North to Sumatra, Java, Timor and the north tip of Australia.  Includes nice details in the Straits of Malacca and “Sincapura” (Singapore). The map is a stand alone sheet, although it can also be joined with the map of India to the west, to form a larger wall map.
