ILES DE BANDA  South Moluccas c.1747

Mid-18th century black and white French map of the nutmeg and mace-producing Banda Islands in the South Moluccas by Jacques Nicolas Bellin (1703-1772), engraved by Jacob van Schley and published in Antoine Prevost’s l’Histoire GĂ©nĂ©rale des Voyages published in Paris between 1747 and 1774.

Very good condition apart from some age-toning around the edges of the map; measures 186 x 212 mm.
