Description: Antique map of Asia titled ‚A Map of Little Bochara and the adjacent countrys. Drawn from the Survey of the Jesuits and Mr. McKyrillows Map of the Russian Empire‘. Depicts little Bochara, tartary and the Gobi desert. This map most likely originates from ‘A New Geographical and Historical Grammar (..)‘.

 

Artists and Engravers: Thomas Kitchin (or Thomas Kitchen (1718 – 1784) was an English engraver and cartographer, who became hydrographer to the king. He was also an author, who wrote about the history of the West Indies.
